Red Sea ReefSense ORP Probe

Description

Red Sea ReefSense ORP ProbeThe digital ReefSense ORP probe can be connected to the ReefControl Lite or Pro controllers, providing real-time monitoring, notifications and logs.It can also be configured to automatically control DC equipment or AC equipment such as an ozonizer when used in combination with ReefControl Power. The ReefSense ORP Probe features dual ceramic external junctions in its double junction design for increased longevity and is accurate to 30mV and precision of 1mV.Gain a critical insight into your aquarium’s water clarity and cleanliness with the ReefSense Digital ORP Probe. This high-precision sensor provides 24/7 monitoring of your Oxidation-Reduction Potential (ORP) and is the essential tool for safely and effectively automating an ozonizer within your ReefBeat ecosystem.Detailed Description:Measure your water’s “cleanup power” in real-time. The ReefSense Digital ORP Probe is a key addition to your ReefControl system, measuring the Oxidation-Reduction Potential (ORP) of your aquarium. This reading is a direct indicator of water quality and the water’s ability to break down waste products. A stable, high ORP is a sign of a clean, healthy, and low-waste environment. This is a fully digital probe, designed to be immune to the electromagnetic interference from pumps and lights that can cause false readings on traditional analog probes. Its robust, double-junction design ensures a long life and reliable performance in a saltwater environment. When connected to your ReefControl Lite or Pro, this probe provides live monitoring, data logging, and instant alerts to your ReefBeat app. Its most powerful feature is automation: pair it with a ReefControl Power (sold separately) to precisely control an ozonizer (ozone generator). You can set a target ORP level, and the system will automatically turn the ozonizer on or off to maintain that level, preventing dangerous overdosing and ensuring crystal-clear water.Key Features:Real-Time ORP Monitoring:Provides continuous, 24/7 readings of your aquarium’s Oxidation-Reduction Potential (ORP) in millivolts (mV).Essential for Ozone Control:The only safe way to run an ozonizer. Allows you to set a precise ORP target (e.g., 350-400mV) for automated control.High-Precision & Accuracy:Accurate to 30mV with a precision of 1mV, giving you reliable data.Interference-Free Digital Design:As a digital probe, it’s not affected by electromagnetic interference (EMI) from other aquarium equipment.Durable, Long-Life Sensor:Features a double-junction design with dual ceramic external junctions for increased longevity and reliable performance.ReefBeat Integrated:Connects directly to any port on a ReefControl Lite or Pro for live monitoring, data logging, and instant notifications on your phone.Smart Calibration:Calibration data is storedon the probe itself, so you can move it between ports or controllers without needing to recalibrate.Remote Bluetooth Use:A unique feature allows you to use the probe remotely via Bluetooth for easy calibration at a sink.Automation Possibilities:Ozonizer Control:(Requires ReefControl Power) Automatically switch your ozonizer on or off to maintain a perfectly stable ORP level, maximizing water clarity while preventing harm to livestock.Water Quality Alerts:Receive an instant notification on your phone if your ORP suddenly drops (indicating a problem like a dead fish or overfeeding) or rises too high.Technical Specifications:Accuracy:30mVPrecision:1mVDesign:Double-junction with dual ceramic junctionsCompatibility:ReefControl Lite & ReefControl Pro
